Alessandro Alessandroni

alessandro alessandroni

His name is legend: the whistle and guitar from Sergio Leone's "A Fistful of Dollars", the voice of the crazy "Mah'na Mah'na", composed by Piero Umiliani. His name is associated to those of Ennio Morricone, of vocalist Edda Dell'Orso and the "Cantori Moderni" ("Modern Singers"), the choir that accompains the maestro in soundtrack performances but also in arrangements for Italian pop music hits in the 1960s.
Multi-instrumentalist, one of the few sitar players on the Italian scene, he performs several Morricone soundtracks.
His filmography seems endless, with dozens of titles ranging from spaghetti western to erotic movies and italian comedy.
Recently he recorded a new soundtrack for "Trinity Goes East", a cross between spaghetti western and martial arts b-movies.
